Hi, my name is Dave Shakespeare, and I am the founder of Advance Driving & Riding, a personal coaching service aimed at every aspect of driving or riding.

Based right here in the very heart of the UK, in Coventry in the West Midlands.

I have qualifications in Advanced Driving & Riding from the IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorists) and RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents), including a diploma in level 4 advanced behavioural driver training.

Having worked in the transport and training industry for over 30 years, I fully understand the pressures, and problems that today's drivers and riders face everyday!

The UK road network is now a very traffic soaked environment, and can be an extremely stressful place to be. Sharing the roadspace with cars, trucks & vans can be a challenge for the very best of us, leaving us feeling, fatigued, stressed and full of anxiety. Understanding all of the safety systems fitted to modern vehicles and adapting a driving style specifically designed to reduce all of the these things will help you remain calm, alert, and empowered.

I also work closely with Police forces throughout England & Wales, helping Police Officers to become familiarized, confident and competent with heavy trucks during operational use.
